The SGS 07366 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit sized at wire gauge 43, with a decimal diameter of 0.0890 inches and a 130-degree four-facet point. It is engineered for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and other tight-tolerance applications. The uncoated carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance in hard and abrasive materials. With a 1.5-inch overall length and a 1/8-inch shank diameter, it fits standard drill chucks and CNC spindles used in electronics manufacturing and precision machining environments. This bit is installed and operated by machinists, electronics fabricators, and precision drilling technicians.
This drill bit is suited for drilling circuit boards as well as a wide range of workpiece materials including aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium. Its regular spiral geometry and 30-degree helix angle support efficient chip evacuation in both through-hole and blind-hole drilling scenarios. The tapered web configuration adds stability at the cutting tip. It is appropriate for both manual and CNC-controlled drill presses in light industrial and electronics production settings.
Designed for use in standard 1/8-inch shank drill chucks and CNC drilling spindles; compatible with aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium workpieces as noted in the SGS Series 105 product specifications.
This drill bit is installed by machinists and electronics fabricators using standard drill chuck or collet toolholding. Ensure the drill press or CNC spindle is fully powered down and locked out before inserting or removing the bit. Inspect the cutting edge for chipping before each use, as carbide tooling is brittle and sensitive to side loading. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for RPM and feed rate appropriate to the workpiece material and hole diameter.
