The SGS 07360 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit boards and other tight-tolerance applications. It carries a wire size designation of 45, corresponding to a decimal diameter of 0.0820 inches (2.08 mm), with a 130-degree four-facet point that promotes accurate entry and reduces walking on hard or layered materials. The shank diameter is 0.1250 inches (1/8 inch), and the overall length is 1.5 inches. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers rigidity and thermal stability suited to high-RPM spindle work on dense or abrasive workpiece materials. This bit is intended for use by machinists, PCB fabricators, and precision tooling technicians.
This drill bit is built for drilling printed circuit boards as well as a broad range of engineering materials including aluminum, cast iron, copper alloy, stainless steel, titanium, cobalt alloy, nickel, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers. It fits standard 1/8 inch collet chucks common to PCB drilling machines and CNC micro-drilling equipment. The regular spiral and tapered web configuration make it appropriate for through-hole work in both prototype and production volume scenarios where dimensional consistency is critical.
Designed for use in CNC PCB drilling machines, benchtop drill presses, and high-speed spindle units accepting a 1/8 inch shank. Suitable for drilling aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium workpieces per the manufacturer material application ratings.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or PCB fabrication technicians familiar with high-speed micro-drilling equipment. Ensure the spindle and collet chuck are clean and free of runout before seating the shank. Always power down and lock out the machine before changing bits. Do not exceed the rated spindle speed for the workpiece material, and confirm chuck grip on the full shank length to prevent pullout during operation.
