The SGS 07355 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit engineered for precise, small-diameter drilling in electronics and light industrial applications. It features a 5/64 inch (0.0781 inch) diameter with a 1/8 inch shank and a 130-degree four-facet point that centers cleanly and reduces walking on entry. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed when drilling through fiber-reinforced polymers, plastics, and non-ferrous metals. Overall length is 1-1/2 inches with a 3/8 inch flute length. Right-hand cut with a regular spiral and a 30-degree helix angle. Installed by machinists, electronics fabricators, and precision trades.
This bit is suited for drilling printed circuit boards, composite laminates, and thin non-ferrous workpieces in both production and repair environments. The four-facet point geometry minimizes delamination and breakout on entry and exit, which is critical when working with fiber-reinforced polymer boards and delicate substrates. Compatible material types include aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium. The tapered web configuration supports chip evacuation in deep or blind holes at this diameter range.

Install in a precision drill press, CNC drilling machine, or high-speed spindle using a collet or chuck sized for a 1/8 inch shank. Secure the workpiece firmly to prevent movement at entry and exit. Use appropriate spindle speeds for the workpiece material and this diameter range - excessive feed rate at small diameters can cause bit breakage. Inspect the cutting edge before each use; solid carbide bits are brittle and should be handled carefully to avoid chipping.
