The SGS 07352 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and related electronic assembly work. It features a 1.9 mm (0.0748 inch) diameter with a 130-degree four-facet point that reduces walking and produces clean entry holes. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for consistent results in tight-tolerance applications. With a 1/8-inch shank diameter and 1.5 inches overall length, this bit mounts in standard CNC drill spindles and benchtop drill presses used by electronics manufacturers and rework technicians.
This bit is rated for heavy-duty use across a broad range of workpiece materials including aluminum, cast iron, copper alloy, stainless steel, titanium, cobalt alloy, nickel, fiber-reinforced polymers, and plastics. The regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation in both metallic and composite substrates. It is well-suited for PCB shops, prototype board work, and precision machining environments where hole quality and positional accuracy are critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use bit for CNC circuit board drilling machines and benchtop drill presses accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter. Compatible workpiece materials include aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or electronics fabrication technicians. Ensure the drill spindle is fully powered down and secured before changing bits. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully into the collet or chuck and verify runout before initiating a drilling cycle. Do not exceed the recommended feed and speed parameters for the target substrate material, as solid carbide bits are brittle and susceptible to breakage under excessive lateral load.
