The SGS 07345 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and related small-diameter applications. It measures 1.7 mm (0.0669 inches) in diameter with a 130-degree four-facet point that promotes accurate entry and reduces walking on hard substrates. The uncoated carbide construction handles abrasive and hard materials without a coating that could affect tolerance. Overall length is 1.5 inches (38.10 mm), with a 1/8-inch (3.18 mm) shank. This bit is used by electronics fabricators, precision machinists, and trade technicians drilling tight-tolerance holes in PCBs, composites, and specialty alloys.
The 07345 is suited for drilling in aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium. Its regular spiral geometry and 30-degree helix angle support chip evacuation in both through-hole and blind-hole drilling scenarios on CNC and manual drill presses. Secure the workpiece firmly to prevent movement during drilling, particularly in thin or laminated PCB material. Follow equipment manufacturer guidelines for spindle speed and feed rate for the specific workpiece material and bit diameter.
