The SGS 07322 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit engineered for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and similar close-tolerance applications. It features a 1.05 mm (0.0413 inch) cutting diameter with a 130-degree four-facet point that reduces walking and improves entry accuracy on hard substrates. The uncoated carbide construction delivers consistent performance across a range of non-ferrous metals, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 1/8-inch shank diameter, it is sized for standard PCB drilling spindles and CNC micro-drill setups. Installation is typically performed by machinists, PCB fabricators, or electronics technicians.
This bit is suited for high-speed precision drilling in both production and repair environments. It performs well in materials including aluminum, copper alloy, plastics, fiber-reinforced polymers, stainless steel, titanium, nickel, cobalt alloy, and cast iron. The regular spiral and 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation in shallow-to-moderate depth holes typical of circuit board work. It is sold individually and is appropriate for benchtop drill presses, CNC drill stations, and similar precision equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit drill bit for standard 1/8-inch shank PCB drilling spindles and CNC micro-drill equipment used in circuit board fabrication and precision machining applications.
This bit is installed and operated by machinists, PCB fabricators, or qualified electronics technicians using appropriate collet or chuck systems. Ensure the drill spindle is fully stopped and de-energized before changing bits. Verify shank seating depth and collet torque per the equipment manufacturer's guidelines before operation. Do not exceed the recommended feed rate or spindle speed for the workpiece material to avoid bit breakage at this diameter.
