The SGS 07304 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit boards and other thin, tight-tolerance workpieces. The bit measures 0.0292 inches (wire size 69) in diameter with a 1/8-inch shank and an overall length of 1.5 inches. The 130-degree four-facet point geometry promotes accurate entry and reduces walking on hard, abrasive substrates. With a 30-degree helix angle and regular spiral, the 07304 is suited for electricians, electronics technicians, PCB fabricators, and precision machinists working in production or repair environments.
This drill bit is built for demanding material applications including aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel, titanium, cobalt alloys, copper alloys, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, and plastics. Its uncoated solid carbide construction maintains edge sharpness across these varied substrates without the risk of coating delamination under high-speed conditions. The tapered web configuration improves chip evacuation through the 0.4-inch flute length. It is sold individually and is well-suited for CNC drilling centers and precision hand-drill fixtures used in circuit board and light fabrication work.

Circuit board drill bits should be installed by qualified machinists or technicians familiar with small-diameter carbide tooling. Secure the shank fully in a precision collet or chuck before operation and verify runout is within acceptable tolerance, as carbide is brittle and sensitive to side load. Avoid flexing or prying with the bit during use. Power down and de-energize all equipment before changing tooling.
