The SGS 07294 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit engineered for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and related electronic assembly applications. It features a No. 75 wire gauge size with a decimal diameter of 0.0210 inches (0.53 mm), a 130-degree four-facet point, and a regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and edge retention required when drilling small-diameter holes through dense or abrasive substrates. A tapered web configuration supports chip evacuation and reduces thrust. Licensed electricians, PCB technicians, and precision machinists are the primary installers of this bit.
This drill bit is suited for use in CNC drill presses, micro-drilling machines, and bench-top precision drilling equipment. It handles a wide range of workpiece materials including aluminum, cast iron, copper alloy, stainless steel, titanium, cobalt alloy, nickel, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers. The 1/8-inch shank diameter is a standard size compatible with collet-style chucks common on PCB drilling machines and precision spindle equipment. Series 105 designates the product family within SGS tooling.

Install and removal should be performed by a qualified machinist or PCB technician using a properly sized collet or chuck rated for the 1/8-inch shank. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the machine is locked out before changing tooling. Secure the bit to the manufacturer-specified collet engagement depth to avoid runout. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use, as solid carbide bits at this diameter are brittle and susceptible to chipping if mishandled.
