The SGS 07275 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and related small-hole applications. It carries a wire gauge size of 80, with a decimal diameter of 0.0135 inches (0.34 mm), and features a 130-degree four-facet point geometry that reduces walking and improves hole entry accuracy. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and edge retention required for tight-tolerance work in hard and abrasive materials. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.125-inch shank diameter, this bit fits standard CNC drilling spindles and precision drill presses used in electronics manufacturing and prototype board work.
This drill bit is suited for drilling small-diameter holes in PCBs, multi-layer boards, and similar thin-stock assemblies. Its regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle and tapered web configuration promotes chip evacuation in shallow-hole drilling passes. At this diameter, feed rate and spindle speed must be set conservatively to avoid bit deflection or breakage - consult the machine manufacturer and tooling speed-and-feed charts for solid carbide at size 80.
