The SGS 02642 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 0.02-inch cutting diameter and a 0.1-inch length of cut, making it well-suited for fine detail work, slot milling, and profiling in tight geometries. The tool is coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), which provides elevated heat resistance and extends tool life when cutting hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other difficult materials. With four flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, this end mill delivers smooth chip evacuation and stable cutting performance at high speeds.
