The SGS 02204 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 0.008 inch cutting diameter and a 0.012 inch length of cut, this tool is built for micro-milling applications where tight tolerances and fine feature detail are required. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting harder workpiece materials. The micrograin carbide substrate adds wear resistance at the cutting edge. This end mill is suited for high-speed milling of ferrous and non-ferrous materials in applications requiring very small feature sizes.
