The SEITRON SEI-S1500-P is a residential and commercial combustion analyzer packaged as a complete all-in-one kit. It measures oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), and carbon dioxide (CO2), and calculates combustion efficiency, excess air, and draft simultaneously. A built-in thermal printer allows technicians to generate on-site reports without additional hardware. The analyzer includes automatic CO over-range protection with an air-free dilution pump rated up to 100,000 ppm, making it suitable for high-CO environments where standard sensors would otherwise be damaged. A full-color display and real-time QR code app compatibility for iOS and Android round out the feature set for HVAC combustion professionals.
The SEI-S1500-P is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC and combustion service work across gas, oil, and alternative fuel systems. It supports calculations specific to high-efficiency and condensing appliances, which require flue-gas analysis at lower stack temperatures. The kit ships with a 12-inch probe and 5-inch hose, along with a hard plastic carrying case for field transport. Fifteen preprogrammed fuels are included: natural gas, propane, No. 2 oil, No. 4 oil, No. 6 oil, biofuel, wood, and additional fuel types. This makes it usable across a wide range of boiler, furnace, and burner applications without manual fuel-parameter entry.
Designed for use with residential and commercial combustion appliances including gas furnaces, boilers, oil burners, and alternative-fuel heating systems where flue-gas analysis and combustion efficiency verification are required.
The SEI-S1500-P is serviced and operated by licensed HVAC technicians and combustion specialists. Before sampling, confirm that the appliance is running at steady-state conditions and that the probe is fully inserted into the flue or test port to avoid dilution air contamination of the sample. Power down or de-energize only the measurement ports if recalibrating sensors in the field; do not expose the CO sensor to ambient air at concentrations above its rated range without activating the dilution pump protection. Follow local codes and the appliance manufacturer's service instructions when accessing flue passages.
