The SECO 75011276 is a hex drive lock screw designed to secure indexable inserts in compatible toolholders. It is used in face and shell mill applications where a reliable mechanical clamp is required to hold the cutting insert in position during machining operations. The screw is compatible with the R220.23-16 toolholder style and is driven with the H04-4 key driver. It meets Industry Standard Number 42979. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians are the primary installers of this hardware.
This lock screw is intended for use in face and shell mill indexable tooling setups, typically found in production and job-shop machining environments. It is suited for both manual and CNC milling operations where insert retention and repeatable seating are critical. The screw is designed for use with REHR 1605MOT inserts in the R220.23-16 toolholder. Minimum order quantity is 5 units, with a package quantity of 1 per pack.
Compatible with the R220.23-16 toolholder style and REHR 1605MOT indexable inserts. Requires the H04-4 key driver for installation. Conforms to Industry Standard Number 42979.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Always ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before changing or securing indexable inserts. Use only the specified H04-4 hex key driver to tighten the lock screw to avoid stripping the drive socket or damaging the insert seat. Do not use an impact driver or apply excessive torque beyond what is specified for the toolholder system.
