The SECO 17016437 is a single-end square end mill designed for material removal in demanding machining operations. Manufactured from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiCN coating, it delivers wear resistance and heat tolerance well beyond standard HSS tooling. The cutter measures 0.75 inches in diameter with a 4-inch length of cut and a 6.25-inch overall length. Six spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote chip evacuation and surface finish quality. The 17016437 is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and high-temperature alloys. Its TiCN coating extends tool life when cutting abrasive or work-hardening materials. Always confirm spindle speed and feed rate against material and depth-of-cut recommendations before beginning the cut.
