The SECO 17015176 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiCN, this tool handles tough ferrous and non-ferrous materials where standard HSS tooling wears too quickly. It features 4 right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree maximum helix angle, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 3 inch overall length. The stub-length profile keeps the tool rigid under heavy chip loads. Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel working with vertical mills, knee mills, or CNC machining centers.

This roughing end mill suits production and job-shop environments where rapid stock removal is the priority before finishing passes. The 1/2 inch diameter and stub-length configuration make it well suited to short-reach pocketing, slotting, and profile roughing operations in steel, stainless, and similar alloys.
