Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a TiAlN coating, it handles elevated cutting temperatures and extends tool life in demanding applications. The 3/4 inch diameter, 4-flute geometry with right-hand spiral flutes and a 30-degree maximum helix angle produces efficient chip evacuation during roughing passes. With a 4.125 inch length of cut and a 6.375 inch overall length, this tool is suited for deep-pocket roughing where reach and rigidity are both required. This end mill is designed for roughing operations on milling machines and machining centers.
