The SECO 17014119 is a single-end cobalt roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it delivers heat resistance and edge toughness on difficult-to-machine steels and alloys. The 7/8 inch (0.8750 inch) cutting diameter is paired with a 5-flute geometry that breaks chips into smaller segments, reducing cutting forces and allowing higher feed rates. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are standard. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and toolroom professionals in production or job-shop environments.

This end mill fits standard vertical and horizontal milling machines, CNC machining centers, and knee mills accepting a 3/4 inch straight shank. The regular-length profile with a 3.5 inch length of cut and 5.75 inch overall length suits typical roughing passes on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. It is not center-cutting, so it is used for peripheral side milling and slotting applications where plunge entry is not required.
