The SECO 17013196 is a corner chamfer end mill from the VFP635 series, designed for demanding material removal in stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, it measures 2 inches in diameter with a 3-inch length of cut and a 6.75-inch overall length. The 45-degree chamfer edge is ground to a 0.0400-inch chamfer width, delivering a consistent edge break or chamfer on finished workpiece profiles. This is a single-end, centercutting tool with four helical flutes in a right-hand cutting direction and a super-close pitch configuration suited for roughing and multi-axis toolpath strategies.
The 17013196 is appropriate for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where operators are cutting stainless steel, titanium, or superalloy components. Supported operations include shouldering, slotting, rampdown, helical interpolation, drill milling, and plunging and recessing. The Weldon flat shank, measuring 2 inches in diameter, provides positive drive and minimizes pullout under heavy cutting loads. Inspect the cutting edges and chamfer profile for chips or wear before each use.
