The SECO 17002317 is a 7-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining environments. Built on the S738R series platform, it features a 1/4 inch mill diameter, 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.0300 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at part corners and extends tool life. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness for dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. With a 38-degree helix angle and close-pitch flute geometry, this tool is engineered to handle both roughing and finishing operations in a single setup. It is installed in standard toolholders with a straight-cylindrical 1/4 inch shank.

This end mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills where precision corner geometry is required. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, and S.
