The SECO 10023162 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precise material removal in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 0.0100 inch corner radius for blended edge geometry that reduces stress concentrations at part corners. The three-flute, right-hand spiral configuration supports both roughing and finishing passes. An ANF PVD coating enhances tool life and surface finish when cutting non-ferrous metals. The 6 inch overall length and extended reach design make it suitable for deeper cavity work without sacrificing rigidity.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with standard toolholders. It is optimized for non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass. The single-end, centercutting design allows plunge entry and full contouring capability. With a 45 degree high helix angle and coarse pitch, it is suited for high-material-removal-rate operations where chip evacuation is critical. The 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank fits common collet and end mill holder systems.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Optimized for non-ferrous metal workpiece materials in CNC and manual milling applications. Part of the SECO AN345R series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the toolholder manufacturer torque and runout specifications. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before loading or changing tooling. Verify shank seating depth and confirm total indicated runout does not exceed the 0.0005 inch TIR maximum before beginning a cut. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use.
