The SECO 10023156 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in non-ferrous metals. It carries a 1/2-inch diameter, a 0.1250-inch corner radius, and a 5/8-inch length of cut. The tool features 3 flutes with a right-hand spiral configuration, a 45-degree high helix angle, and an ANF PVD coating optimized for chip flow and surface finish in aluminum and other non-ferrous workpiece materials. At 5 inches overall length with a 3-inch reach, this is a single-end, centercutting tool suited for both roughing and finishing passes. It is part of the SECO AN345R series.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and milling operations targeting non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass alloys. The extended reach of 3 inches makes it appropriate for deep-pocket milling and contour work where standard-reach tools cannot access the feature. The coarse pitch flute geometry supports aggressive material removal while the ANF coating reduces built-up edge in sticky, gummy non-ferrous materials. It is intended for use with standard cylindrical toolholders and collet systems.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control placed in an appropriate lockout state. Confirm toolholder runout against the stated TIR maximum of 0.0005 inches before beginning a cut. Apply appropriate cutting fluid or coolant strategy per material and machine guidelines, noting this tool does not feature through-coolant capability. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for wear or chipping before each use.
