The SECO 10008541 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling applications in metalworking and machining environments. The tool features a 1/4 inch diameter with a 0.0200 inch corner radius and a 3/4 inch length of cut, making it well suited for profiling, contouring, and finishing passes where sharp internal corners must be avoided. The four-flute, right-hand spiral configuration provides smooth chip evacuation and stable cutting action. An HTA PVD coating applied to the carbide substrate improves wear resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This end mill is single-end, centercutting, and mounts to standard straight-bore toolholders.
This end mill is intended for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills in job shop, production, and tool-and-die environments. The STR430.2 series geometry with a 30-degree variable helix angle suits a range of milling operations including side milling, slotting, and finishing of complex profiles. The 2.5 inch overall length and 1/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank allow it to fit standard collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in light to medium-duty machining setups. Typical users include CNC machinists and toolmakers working with steel, alloy steel, stainless, and similar materials.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine control in an appropriate safe state. Secure the 1/4 inch shank in a matched collet or end mill holder and verify runout against the 0.0005 inch TIR maximum before cutting. Confirm appropriate speeds and feeds for the workpiece material before beginning the cut. Do not exceed the rated length of cut of 3/4 inch to avoid deflection or tool breakage.
