The SECO 06685 is a square tool bit blank manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel in material grade WKE45. This unground blank provides the raw stock machinists and tool grinders need to fabricate custom single-point cutting tools, form tools, and special-profile tooling. The blank measures 5 millimeters wide by 5 millimeters high with an overall length of 160 millimeters, giving adequate stock for grinding to final geometry. WKE45 cobalt grade offers elevated hot hardness and wear resistance compared to standard M2 high-speed steel, making it well suited for interrupted cuts and harder workpiece materials.
