The SECO 03276270 is a DNMG431-MF4 series indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide and finished with a CVD-applied Duratomic multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr. It carries a 55-degree diamond shape (Insert Shape Code D), a neutral hand orientation, and a 1/64-inch corner radius. The MF4 chip breaker geometry and chamfered-and-honed cutting edge are designed to handle medium-to-rough material removal with controlled chip formation. Four usable cutting edges are available per insert. This insert is intended for use by CNC machinists and lathe operators in production turning environments.

The 03276270 is suited for turning, facing, boring, and back turning operations. Its primary target workpiece material is stainless steel (ISO material group M), with steel (ISO group P) as the secondary application. Material grades M25, M30, and M35 indicate suitability for medium to medium-rough cutting conditions. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by CNC machinists or toolroom technicians. Shut down the machine and release all axis movement before changing inserts. Use the appropriate torque wrench or clamping key specified by the toolholder manufacturer when securing the clamp, pin, or lever-lock mechanism — do not over-tighten by hand. Inspect the toolholder pocket seating surface for chips or wear before seating a new insert.
