The SECO 03273340 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI and ISO designation LOHT060310TR-M07 in manufacturer grade MP2501. This double-sided, right-hand insert features a rectangular shape with four cutting edges and a T-Land cutting edge style, making it suited for high-productivity face and shoulder milling operations. The CVD-applied Duratomic coating combines TiCN and Al2O3 layers for wear resistance and thermal stability. At 0.1406 inches thick and 0.25 inches wide, the insert seats in a negative rake geometry with a 1.00 mm corner radius. Primary workpiece material is steel, with secondary capability across stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium.
This insert is designed for use in precision milling applications on CNC machining centers handling steel and multi-material workpieces. The M07 chip breaker geometry supports a wide range of cutting conditions from light finishing to moderate roughing. The insert carries a maximum depth of cut of 0.3937 inches and a cutting edge effective length of 0.3937 inches, making it appropriate for both roughing and semi-finishing passes. It is installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments where consistent tool life and edge security are required.

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and locked out before changing inserts. Use the appropriate torx or hex key to seat the clamping screw to the cutter body manufacturer's specification — do not overtighten, as this can fracture the carbide insert. Inspect the pocket seating surface for debris or damage before installing a new insert.
