The SECO 03171228 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in demanding industrial machining applications. Part of the JMB542 series, this single-end tool features a 0.039 inch (1.00 mm) mill diameter with a 0.04 inch (1.00 mm) length of cut, a 0.50 mm nose radius, and a 30-degree medium helix angle. The 2-flute, right-hand cutting geometry is suited for both roughing and finishing operations. The SIRON-A PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection, extending tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting environments.
