The SECO 03084155 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. It features a 3/8-inch diameter, a 0.0200-inch corner radius, and four flutes with a variable helix geometry that reduces chatter and improves surface finish. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in abrasive materials. At 3 inches overall length with a 1-1/8-inch length of cut, this single-end, centercutting tool handles both roughing and finishing operations in a single setup. It belongs to the STR440.2 series and is built to micrograin carbide standards for edge retention under high-load conditions.

Verify toolholder bore condition and runout before seating the shank — the maximum TIR specification for this tool is 0.0005 inches, so holder cleanliness and clamping force directly affect tool life and part accuracy. Do not exceed recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material category, and confirm coolant strategy is appropriate since this tool does not feature through-coolant capability.
