The SECO 03067318 is a single-end corner radius end mill head designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from solid carbide with a micrograin material grade, it delivers high wear resistance and consistent edge retention under demanding cutting conditions. The tool features an HXT coating for improved thermal protection and extended tool life. With a 2.00 mm mill diameter and a 10-degree helix angle, this head is engineered for right-hand spiral cutting. The 4-flute configuration supports smooth chip evacuation and improved surface finish in finishing and semi-finishing passes. Licensed machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production environments are the primary users of this tooling.
This end mill head is suited for small-diameter milling work where tight tolerances and controlled depth of cut are required. The extended reach design, with a 10.00 mm reach length and a reduced 1.80 mm neck diameter, allows access to recessed features and stepped pockets. A 6.00 mm cylindrical shank provides secure clamping in collet or hydraulic tool holders. The 0.50 mm length of cut makes this head appropriate for finishing passes on hardened or abrasive materials where minimal engagement is preferred. It is part of the JHF181 series.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Verify runout after clamping using a dial indicator — excessive runout will accelerate edge wear and reduce dimensional accuracy. This tool is not centercutting; do not use for direct plunge entry into solid material.
