The SECO 03064531 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CNMA series, designed for high-performance metal cutting in CNC and conventional turning applications. It carries the ANSI insert code CNMA433 and ISO code CNMA120412. The insert features a CVD-applied multilayer Duratomic coating — TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr — which delivers high wear resistance across a range of workpiece materials. The 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape provides a strong cutting geometry, while the flat-top chip breaker and chamfered, honed cutting edge support consistent chip control. Four cutting edges are available per insert, making it an efficient choice for production turning environments.

This insert is suited for facing, boring, and turning operations on cast iron, steel, and stainless steel. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and locked out before seating or replacing inserts.
