The SECO 03046348 is a jobber length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding industrial and trade environments. Built from solid carbide with a TiAlN coating, this bit delivers extended tool life and thermal resistance in applications where standard high-speed steel tooling falls short. The 140-degree point angle reduces thrust force and improves chip evacuation at entry. With a diameter of 29/64 inch (0.4531 inch) and an overall length of 4.6457 inches, it suits a wide range of CNC and manual drilling operations. The 03046348 is engineered for drilling steel, cast iron, and hardened materials, covering ISO workpiece material codes P, M, K, and H. Its regular spiral flute geometry and right-hand cut make it compatible with standard drill presses, machining centers, and CNC setups. The 6xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports drilling to a maximum depth of 2.7953 inches (71.00 mm). The straight cylindrical shank with a 0.4724 inch diameter fits standard toolholders without modification. This bit does not require coolant-through capability, simplifying setup in shops without through-spindle coolant systems.
