The SECO 03043577 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in hardened and difficult-to-machine materials. It carries a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) mill diameter with a 0.0074 inch corner radius and an AlTiN coating that improves heat resistance and tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. The two-flute, single-end configuration with a straight flute geometry and 0-degree helix angle is suited for controlled, low-vibration passes in tight-tolerance work. This tool is part of SECO's SN200R series and is built from micrograin solid carbide stock for consistent edge integrity at small diameters.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and high-speed milling applications where small-diameter, corner-radius profiling is required. Typical applications include mold and die work, micro-feature machining, and finishing passes on hardened tool steels and exotic alloys. The extended reach design, with a 0.443 inch reach length and a 0.055 inch neck diameter, allows the tool to access recessed features and deep pockets without tool deflection becoming a primary concern. It is a standard-length tool with a 1/4 inch cylindrical shank and a 2 inch overall length.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and milling machines that accept a 1/4 inch cylindrical shank. Part of the SECO SN200R series for small-diameter corner radius end milling applications.
This tool should be installed by a qualified machinist using a properly sized collet or end mill holder sized for a 1/4 inch shank. Verify runout at the spindle before commencing a cut, as small-diameter carbide tools are sensitive to even minor concentricity errors. Do not use this tool for plunge cutting, as it is non-centercutting. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for feed rate and spindle speed for the specific workpiece material and coating type.
