The SECO 03007651 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. With a 0.625-inch mill diameter and a 1.625-inch length of cut, it delivers consistent material removal across a range of workpiece materials. The six-flute configuration provides a higher number of cutting edges per pass, supporting improved surface finish and feed rate capability. An AlTiN coating adds thermal resistance and hardness, extending tool life in high-speed and dry-cutting conditions. The 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. This end mill is a single-end tool built to exacting dimensional tolerances for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling operations.
The 03007651 is suited for side milling, slotting, and profile milling in ferrous and hardened materials where tool rigidity and heat resistance are critical. The straight-cylindrical, 0.625-inch shank accepts standard ER and side-lock toolholders common in production and job-shop environments. Its centercutting design allows plunge entry. The micrograin carbide substrate and variable index geometry make it a practical selection for aerospace, die and mold, and general metalworking applications. Series S638 identifies the product family for reorder and tooling management purposes.

Installation and tool changes must be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the machine at full stop and power isolated. Ensure the toolholder bore and shank are clean and free of chips before securing. Follow the toolholder manufacturer's torque and runout specifications when setting tool projection and clamping. Inspect tool geometry and coating condition before each setup to verify the end mill is free of chipping or wear.
