This multi-tipped, square-shaped carbide insert features a Duratomic CVD coating system combining TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr layers for high wear resistance across a broad range of workpiece materials. The F1 chip breaker geometry is optimized for finishing cuts, delivering a sharp cutting edge and positive rake angle. With a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, 1/32-inch corner radius, and 7-degree relief angle, it is suited to light to moderate depths of cut in production environments. This insert is rated for use on steel (P-class), stainless steel (M-class), and cast iron (K-class) workpieces, corresponding to material grades P10, P20, P30, and P35.
