The SECO 02960075 is an SNMG432-MF2 series indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide and coated via CVD with a multilayer Duratomic system of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr. It carries the TP1501 manufacturer grade, targeting steel and cast iron machining in finishing and semi-finishing operations. The insert features a 90-degree square shape, negative rake, a 0.5 inch inscribed circle, and a 0.0315 inch corner radius. With 8 cutting edges per insert and an MF2 chip breaker geometry, it is suited for high-productivity turning, boring, and facing on CNC lathes and turning centers.
