The SECO 02960060 is a CNMG432-FF2 series indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide and finished with a CVD-applied Duratomic multilayer coating (TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr). It carries manufacturer grade TP1501, a designation optimized for steel machining (ISO P10/P20) with secondary capability in cast iron and hard materials. The insert features an 80-degree diamond shape, a 0.5 inch inscribed circle, and a 1/32 inch (0.0315 inch) corner radius. The FF2 chip breaker geometry and honed cutting edge make it suited for finishing and light roughing passes in CNC turning, boring, and facing operations.

This insert fits CNMG-style toolholders and is intended for use in CNC lathes and turning centers handling steel workpieces in production environments. Typical applications include external turning, internal boring, and facing. The neutral hand orientation allows use in both right- and left-hand setups depending on the toolholder configuration. Installation Notes

Inspect the pocket for chips or debris that could cause the insert to rock and lead to premature edge failure.
