The SECO 02959969 is a round solid carbide turning insert in the RNMG-M3 series, designed for general-purpose metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. The insert carries a CVD-applied Duratomic multilayer coating — TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr — classified as grade TP1501, which provides wear resistance and thermal stability during interrupted and continuous cuts. With a 1/2-inch inscribed circle, an 0.250-inch corner radius, and a full-radius round shape, it delivers 8 usable cutting edges per insert.
