The SECO 02897990 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill designed for high-performance drilling in steel and other ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 14 mm diameter, a 140-degree standard point angle, and an AlCrN (TiAlN) coating that extends tool life under elevated cutting temperatures. The overall length is 124 mm (approximately 4.89 inches), with a flute length of 77 mm (approximately 3.03 inches). The straight cylindrical shank matches the drill body diameter at 14 mm, making it compatible with standard drill chucks and collet holders. Part of the SD1105A series, this drill is built for consistent performance in production and job-shop environments.
This drill is suited for drilling operations in steel, cast iron, hardened materials, and non-ferrous alloys, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, and H.
