The SECO 02772633 is an indexable square-shoulder end mill built for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. Carrying ISO designation R217.69-00.625-0-10-2A, this tool features a 5/8 inch (0.625 inch) cutting diameter and a maximum depth of cut of 0.354 inches. It runs at up to 29,400 RPM and accepts two XO.X 10T3.. series inserts secured by screw clamping. The 90-degree lead angle produces true square shoulders. Through-coolant capability keeps the cutting zone clear and manages heat during aggressive material removal. The body is constructed from steel and belongs to the Turbo 10 cutter series. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tool room technicians in production and job shop environments.
This end mill is suited for square-shoulder milling applications in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a clean 90-degree wall is required. The two-flute, negative-rake geometry combined with XOEX and XOMX compatible inserts makes it well matched for medium to heavy chip loads on vertical machining centers and milling machines. The cylindrical shank measures 5/8 inch in diameter with a shank length of 4.232 inches, fitting standard ER or side-lock toolholders. Overall assembly length is 5.315 inches, giving adequate reach for the majority of shallow to mid-depth shoulder and slot milling passes within the 0.354 inch maximum axial depth.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician with the machine in a fully locked-out, zero-energy state before tooling changes. Seat the cylindrical shank fully into the toolholder and torque the retention screw per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify insert seating and screw torque against the insert manufacturer guidelines before spindle start. Confirm through-coolant passages are clear and coolant pressure is within the machine specification before running.
