The SECO 02733827 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precise milling operations in demanding metalworking environments. With a 6 mm cutting diameter, 4 flutes, and a 48-degree high helix angle, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and a clean finish across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 0.08 mm chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle produces consistent edge breaks and shoulder transitions. A PVD-applied SIRON-A coating improves wear resistance and thermal stability, extending tool life in high-speed applications. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in production shops or job shops are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and superalloys including titanium. Its geometry supports shouldering, slotting, ramp-down entry, helical interpolation, drill-mill operations, plunging, and recessing. The 23 mm length of cut paired with a 65 mm overall length makes it appropriate for moderate-depth cavity and profile work on CNC machining centers. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts. Follow the tool manufacturer and machine builder guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for the target workpiece material.
