The SECO 02685799 is an indexable chamfer angle face mill designed for high-productivity facing operations on milling machines. Built to the R220.48 series standard, it accepts 10 ON.U 09 inserts held in place by a wedge clamping method. The cutter runs in a right-hand cutting direction with a negative rake angle of -8 degrees, producing clean, flat surfaces across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. With a minimum cutting diameter of 6.3 inches and a maximum cutting diameter of 6.89 inches, this shell mill is suited for wide-face passes in both production and job-shop environments. Maximum depth of cut is 0.236 inches. The unit weighs 9.7 pounds.

This face mill is intended for CNC machining centers and manual horizontal or vertical knee mills equipped with an arbor or shell mill adapter with a 2-inch arbor hole.
