The SECO 02642818 is an indexable square-shoulder end mill designed for 90-degree shoulder milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built around the R217.96 cutter style, this tool accepts three XNEX 0806-series inserts secured by screw-clamping and delivers a maximum depth of cut of 0.295 inches at a cutting diameter of 1.5 inches. The 4.5-inch overall length and 1.25-inch Weldon Flat shank provide rigid setup in standard end mill holders. Through-coolant capability directs fluid directly to the cutting zone, supporting higher feed rates and extended insert life. Rated to 11,800 RPM, this tool suits CNC machining centers where consistent square shoulders and clean floor finishes are required.
This end mill is intended for use on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers in production and job-shop environments. The 90-degree lead angle makes it well suited for stepping, slotting, and shoulder profiling operations. The Weldon Flat shank diameter of 1.25 inches fits standard ER and Weldon-style tool holders. The three-insert configuration in the Square 6 series balances metal removal rate with smooth cutting action across a range of workpiece materials.

Do not exceed the maximum RPM rating of 11,800 on any spindle setup.
