The SECO 02623807 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding material removal in stainless steel and high-temperature superalloys. It carries a 10 mm cutting diameter, a 3.10 mm corner radius, and a 36 mm length of cut, with an overall length of 75 mm. The four-flute, right-hand spiral geometry runs at a high 48-degree helix angle to promote chip evacuation and reduce cutting forces in tough materials. A MEGA-64 coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in abrasive and heat-resistant workpiece materials. The straight cylindrical shank measures 10 mm in diameter with an h5 tolerance, ensuring consistent runout below 0.01 mm TIR. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
The 02623807 belongs to the SECO JHP760 series, which is purpose-built for roughing operations in stainless steel and superalloy materials such as Inconel, titanium, and similar high-temperature alloys. Its centercutting design allows plunge entry, and coolant-through capability supports high-pressure coolant delivery to the cutting zone. Single-end configuration makes it a direct-mount toolholder application. Typical use cases include slot milling, peripheral roughing, and helical interpolation where corner strength and chip control in difficult materials are priorities.
Designed for use in stainless steel and high-temperature superalloy applications as part of the SECO JHP760 series. Fits standard 10 mm straight-bore toolholders with h5 shank tolerance.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank fully into a collet or hydraulic toolholder to the recommended grip length before torquing the retention system. Verify runout at the spindle before engaging the cut, and confirm coolant-through passages are clear and pressurized when using the internal coolant feature. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended cutting parameters for the target workpiece material and machine spindle rating.
