Designed for precision metal removal on CNC lathes and turning centers, this insert features a 55-degree diamond (rhombic) shape, a 0.5000-inch inscribed circle, and a 0.0315-inch corner radius. The TS2500 grade targets superalloys and titanium as its primary workpiece materials while also performing in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron applications. With 4 cutting edges, a negative rake geometry, and an MF4 chip breaker optimized for finishing and medium machining, it delivers controlled chip flow and repeatable surface finishes. This insert is installed by qualified CNC machinists or tooling technicians. Always index or replace inserts with the machine powered down and the spindle fully stopped.
