The SECO 02615936 is a DNMG433-MF4 series solid carbide turning insert with a TS2000 manufacturer grade and a multilayer PVD TiAlN/TiN coating. It features a 55-degree diamond insert shape, a 1/2-inch inscribed circle, and a 3/64-inch (0.0472 inch) corner radius. The MF4 chip breaker geometry uses a chamfered and honed cutting edge style designed for controlled chip formation in demanding materials. With four cutting edges and a neutral hand orientation, this insert suits turning, facing, boring, and back-turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Installation is performed by licensed machinists and toolroom technicians.
This insert is engineered primarily for stainless steel and superalloys including titanium, aligning with ISO material codes M and S and material grades M05, M10, S10, and S15. It is also applicable as a secondary option on steel, cast iron, and hard materials (ISO codes P, K, H). The DNMG433-MF4 geometry and PVD coating combination make it well suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes where edge integrity and surface finish are critical. This insert is installed by machinists or toolroom technicians following machine tool manufacturer torque and clamping guidelines for the specific toolholder style in use.
