The SECO 02580773 is a solid carbide multi-directional turning insert designed for precision turning and grooving operations in metalworking applications. Built to the LCMF insert style in the MDT series, this insert carries a CP200 manufacturer grade with a micrograin carbide substrate and a PVD-applied TiAlN/TiN coating. The double-ended, neutral-hand design allows use in either cutting direction without retooling. Carbide turning inserts are installed and changed by machinists and toolroom technicians using manufacturer-specified torx or hex keys to seat and clamp the insert securely in the toolholder pocket.
