The SECO 02526625 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying manufacturer part number SNHQ1204520TL4-M07, designed for indexable milling operations across a wide range of workpiece materials. It features a square SNHQ insert shape with a 90-degree included angle, four cutting edges, and a left-hand orientation. The insert is PVD-coated with TiAlN and TiN for heat and wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds. At 0.1772 inches thick with a 0.5000-inch inscribed circle and a 0.0787-inch corner radius, this insert suits demanding face and shoulder milling applications in production environments. It is installed and indexed by licensed machinists and CNC machine operators.
This insert is intended for use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. It is compatible with cutter series 335.19-12 toolholders. The F40M fine-grain carbide grade and M07 chip breaker geometry are suited to medium roughing and semi-finishing passes. Typical applications include production milling on CNC machining centers handling P, K, S, and N material group workpieces. The negative rake angle and T-Land cutting edge style support stable cutting action under interrupted cuts and varying feed conditions.
Compatible with SECO cutter series 335.19-12 toolholders. Designed for use in applications involving steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium workpieces per ISO material groups P, K, S, and N.
Installation and indexing should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the machine powered off and all spindle motion fully stopped before handling the insert. Use the specified torx or hex key for the clamping screw to the toolholder manufacturer's recommended procedure — do not overtighten, as this can fracture the carbide insert body. Inspect the insert pocket seat and contact surfaces for chips or debris before seating the new insert. Dispose of spent inserts per applicable shop safety protocols for sharp carbide tooling.
