The SECO 02462690 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in hard material applications. This single-end, 4-flute tool features an 8 mm cutting diameter, an 8 mm length of cut, and a 0.16 mm chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle. The right-hand helical flutes run at a 50-degree high helix angle, and the tool carries a MEGA-64 PVD coating suited for extended tool life in demanding cuts. Centercutting geometry expands the range of entry strategies available to machinists. This tool is installed and used by CNC machinists and toolroom technicians working with hard workpiece materials.

The 02462690 is well suited for shouldering, slotting, ramp-down milling, helical interpolation, drill milling, and plunging and recessing operations. Installation Notes
