The SECO 02426801 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI/ISO designation SEEX1204AFN-E08 and manufacturer grade F40M. The insert is square in shape with a 90-degree included angle, four cutting edges, and a neutral hand orientation. A PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN dual-layer coating protects the fine-grain carbide substrate during demanding milling operations. The insert measures 0.5 inches in length and width, 0.187 inches thick, and features a 0.044-inch corner radius with a sharp cutting edge style and positive rake geometry at 25 degrees.
