The SECO 00731876 is a solid carbide grooving insert designed for external threading and grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured to ISO standards with a CP500 micrograin carbide grade, this insert features a PVD-applied dual coating of TiAlN and TiN for extended tool life across a wide range of workpiece materials. The right-hand 10NR insert style has a cutting width of 0.046 inches and a maximum depth of cut of 0.046 inches. It is held in place via a clamp-style insert seat, size 10. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this insert in Snap Tap series toolholders for precision grooving work.
