The SECO 00087628 is a right-hand CFIR-style indexable turning toolholder engineered for cut-off and grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built on a 1 x 1 inch steel shank with an overall length of 6 inches, this toolholder uses a clamp-style insert holding method and accepts LC..1603.. series inserts, including LCGN, LCMF, and LCMR geometries. The 90-degree lead angle and right-hand cutting direction suit standard OD turning setups. A head length of 1.14 inches and a back-of-bar to cutting edge distance of 1.25 inches define the reach geometry. Maximum depth of cut is 0.43 inches. The toolholder is part of SECO's Multi-Directional Turning (MDT) series, rated for universal workpiece materials across a wide range of material codes.
